The WIRRAL ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS...WAPA...is a WIRRAL based PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL.

WAPA was founded in 1996 to fulfil the needs of many talented local young performers who wanted to enjoy & benefit from expert extra curriculum tuition in the Performing Arts.

We specialise in  MUSICAL THEATRE based SINGING, DRAMA & DANCE

Classes are weekly during School term time.

STUDENTS perform at their centre usually once a term.

At least once a year at local Theatres...NEW BRIGHTON FLORAL PAVILION
LIVERPOOL EMPIRE, LIVERPOOL PHILHARMONIC HALL, LIVERPOOL ST GEORGES HALL...

...Every couple of years we do a trip to perform in LONDON'S WEST END
 

Since our foundation, WAPA has helped students gain grades in GCSE,
A level & LAMDA...Some go on to train at UK accredited Drama Schools & work professionally in performing arts.

HOWEVER...
... not all Students join to pass exams, or because they want to begin a professional career in Theatre... At WAPA, we believe that the Performing Arts, possess truly unique qualities for enhancing personal development...they allow young people to develop imagination, confidence, authentic communication skills & positive attitude...and our students really buzz from the experience!
